Guinea Simandou Iron Ore Mine – Supporting Morebaya Port Project

As the EPC general contractor, our company was fully responsible for the design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, and commissioning of the approximately 16-kilometer belt conveyor system at the port. The system covers all transfer processes, including train unloading, yard stacking, and ship loading at the wharf. The handling system has a rated capacity of 6,400 metric tons per hour and a designed annual throughput of 70 million metric tons. The drive system employs permanent magnet motors, with four parallel conveyor lines.

This project features harsh environmental conditions, high conveying capacity, and a complex process flow, making it the most complex belt conveyor system our company has undertaken to date
