Guinea Simandou Iron Ore Mine – Mining Project
Overview
Our company is responsible for the design, manufacturing, and technical services for the Package 3 belt conveyor system, which includes 12 belt conveyors with belt widths of 2,000 mm and 2,400 mm, along with 10 transfer stations, totaling approximately 13.1 kilometers in length.
The system adopts an elevated layout and is driven by permanent magnet motors. It integrates intelligent control, inspection robots, and dust removal devices.
The project is implemented in two phases. Phase I, comprising 6 conveyors, completed port delivery in December 2024 and achieved heavy-load commissioning in May 2025. Phase II is scheduled for full operation in July 2026, with a designed annual production capacity of 120 million metric tons.
