Long-Distance Curved Belt Conveyor Project for Mine
This project represents China’s first belt conveyor system deployed at an altitude exceeding 5,000 meters, featuring the greatest downhill conveying height. Belt No. 1 has a horizontal length of 7,454 meters and a downhill conveying height of 615 meters, with a starting altitude of 5,030 meters. Belt No. 2 has a horizontal length of approximately 4,103 meters. To protect the ecological environment of Tibet, the entire conveyor line is fully enclosed. The system is driven by high-voltage regenerative variable-frequency drive units, achieving a total regenerated energy of 650 kW·h under full load, thereby enabling energy recovery.
The project was awarded the Third Prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award.
